Aase is one of four possible words in Kannada for hope. That’s how rich our language and especially this word is…the word that signals what we all think about at the start of each year.​ Each month’s poem is a tribute to the freedom of survivors of human trafficking and bonded labour and every word is an ode to their living struggle.
